Chicano Rapper Blackie Fontana Killed in La Puente

According to the police, at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21, a fatal shooting was reported. There was a small gathering of people at a residential cul-de-sac in the 18800 block of Elizondo Street in La Puente.
Upon arriving at the scene, Industry Station deputies discovered two victims, both of which ended up dying at the scene. Blackie Fontana was identified at the scene and pronounced dead in the driveway. He was 32 years old.
The second victim, 51-year-old Arthur Samuel Romero of Covina, was publicly identified a few days later.

It could’ve been anybody that smoked him, I don’t know. What’s known is hi power was having a bbq or some kind of gathering at that house that day. Pinks snap chatted the spot. That’s all public knowledge. My own speculation is that blackie saw her Snapchat taunts and decided to ride straight over there to hopefully catch Capone E, but who knows if Capone e was even there anymore by the time she showed up. There was probably many others there and my guess is he tried to get into the backyard since he was shot in the driveway by the fence.

Blackie used to date Lady Pinks, but they had an ugly break up which ultimately led to the Hi power beef since she got Capone E on her side and to be against Blackie. She was the worst thing to ever happen to Blackie. I guess she used to get drunk and act all abusive and stir up a lot of shit when they were together. There’s some things I know because I’m from the same city and one of my closest friends was hanging out with Blackie regularly during the last year of his life.
