I think the basis for this movie was to show brothers and sisters like us That there is a WAY OUT...
I liked the movie the first time it come out..
Only one vid shop had the movie(behind the counter) in our hood..
So i hired it and kept it..LOL..
Put it next to my collecton..To show fools there is a way out.
Instead of being caught up in the mix.

Yeah that movie is pretty much real. It's 3 boot camps in Illinois-Green County, DuQuoin, & Dixon Springs(men & women). They don't necessarily send 1st time felons to boot camp every rip. But I know you can't be over 35 years old, can't have more than an 8-year sentence, can't have a violent crime, and can only go to boot camp once. It's 120 days of being babysitted like a little ass kid. That's why a lot of niggas that be gettin sentenced to 3, 4, & 5 little years just go to the joint and do half of their time. A nigga with 7 or 8 years might run with it. A older nigga gon' run with it too. But if your attitude is too bad you ain't gon' be able to deal with that shit.

i didnt like the movie basically because is stupid they made it seem like the only two gangs in chicago is gds and vls..nigga u hit up that county it aint even bout being gd or vl..u either people or folks simple as that...the movie is kind of tight though
