Centinela Park Family
Centinela Park Family (CPF) is a predominately Black America street gang in the City of Inglewood, California adjacent to the City of Los Angeles. The gang is named after the largest park in Inglewood, Centinela Park which was a named given to the area in 1837 for the natural springs in the area; Rancho Aguaje de la Centinela. Translated it means “Centinela Springs” which mean to keep watch or to be on guard of the water springs. In 2007 the park was renamed to Edwin Vincent Jr. (1934-2012) Park, the memorialize the first Black mayor of the City of Inglewood elected In 1983.

The heart of CPF was originally on Hazel Street in the late 70’s and the 64 Street Brims merged with them and their Hood went from West Blvd. to La Brea from East to West and from 64th Street to Florence from North to South, they were the only Blood Set that was created in the Rolling 60’s hood and they still exist ! I know because I started 64 St. Blooooooooood !
