Denver Lane Bloods [DLB, DLBG, The Lanes] are a predominately African-American street gang located in South Los Angeles near Imperial and Figueroa.
They are among the oldest Blood gangs in Los Angeles, existing for several years before the Blood identity was established through out Los Angeles. They were probably founded around 1970 as an independent gang that went by the Denver Lane Boys. They were adjacent to another independent group, the Figueroa Boys, founded by the Miles Family around the same time. The Denver Lanes went on to become the Denver Lane Bloods, and Peabody from DLBs, became the founder of the prison fraternity, United Blood Nation, around 1984 or 1985 in the Los Angeles County Jail.
The DLBs formed on 108th and 109th Streets but then grew to 120th to the South from 106th to the north. The DLBs have the following clicks: 106th, 108th, 109th, 111th, 112th and 115th.
