Westside Van Ness Gangsters [VNG, VNGB] are a predominately African-American street gang located on the westside of South Los Angeles near 54th Street and Van Ness / Arlington streets. Within their territory exists a separate independent Blood gang called Rollin 50s Brims. Some have suggested that the two gangs are actually one, but most agree that the two exist as different identities, supported by the fact the the 50s Brims are mostly located on the westside of the territory near Vernon Ave and 8th Avenue, where as the VNGs are mostly visible off Arlington Avenue near 54th Street Street.
The VNGs are a Blood gang that fall under the Brim alliance and in recent years they became part of the FHN alliance of three separate Brim gangs, Fruit Town Brims, Harvard Park Brims and Van Ness Gang.
