    I live in New York and stayed in Boston for some time in late 90s and early 2000s. Regaurdless were Im from its more were Im at and what Im really doing and one thing I know is real gangsters dont run there mouth about how much drugs they sell or about any illegal rackets the run or people they may or may not have ked or drive by’s they did and they certainly dont rep themself or there crew on fing line.     So…just wow. There are two Boston’s; all these colleges and restaurants and events and history and then…all these gangs and violence. I KNOW I don’t understand and haven’t lived your life (white/Southern/middle class and middle aged but it sounds awful! Every day sounds scary as hell!! I guess I just don’t think 7 year old boys think, “one day I want to be in a gang and see if can live until I’m 30”. I’m pretty sure they watch tv and have bigger dreams. Society is failing these kids. Failed so many that responded to this thread. I hope my son doesn’t go to college in Boston! It sounds AWFUL.
