Dragnet Brief History:Dragnet was established in 1992 and although they don’t call themselves Crips because they live in a crip neighborhood (Shotgun Crip), Dragnet got affiliated and used Crip lexicon. There have been some blood affiliates that have lived in other neighborhoods that were from Dragnet. They mainly wear blue, are recognized by plaid button down collar shirts, New Balance running shoes, baggy jeans, and Notre Dame hats which symbolized Notorius Dragnet. The guys who originated the neighborhood Love Sicc, T Money, Cartoon, Disco, Psycho, Chill, Spliff, Comic, Turtle,Buccwild, Goldie and Vandle. The original groups all came together at "the tree" at Gardena high school in 1992. They stretched across Gardena just like Shotgun Crip from 132nd to 139th mainly, but they had members in Compton, Watts and Los Angeles. Originally they were just a group of youngsters growing up under the SGC's and and grew to nearly 200 deep. They had established beefs with several prep gangs in other hoods like Nuttin But Trouble (NBT's) aka baby 60's, Skilled Kings (SK's), and Lost Gang from Carson. They are best known for their beef with the NBT's from 92' to 2000 as the major beef. Some of the Dragnets as they got older "graduated" into Shotgun Crips and now bang SGC to this day.
