53 (Five Tray) Avalon Gangster Crips in Los Angeles

Five Tray (53) Avalon Gangster Crips are a predominately African-American street gang on the eastside of South Los Angeles. They are based in the community around South Park, where award winning singer Barry White grew up. During the 1950s and 1960s, the BusinessMen where the dominant group in the area prior to the 1965 Watts Riots.

  1. Leon “Baby Bodacious” Deandre Simpson, 39 (March 6, 1976 – September 3, 2015) shot and killed in car-to-car shooting during war with the Menlo Crips. He was the president of the Hogg Life motorcycle club.

  8. Baby Joker, shot and killed by a member of the Hoovers

  11. Rashard La Rome Randle, 26 (December 27, 1988 – September 12, 2015) shot and killed at 745 E. 47th St.
