Home > Crip Gangs > Original Swamp Compton Crip P Jay Watts Crip Brief History: ProJect Watts Crips hold the 112th St(N) to Imperial Hwy(S) between Grape St(W) and Mona Blvd (E), where the Imperial Courts housing projects lie. The gang consists of four cliques: Bull Side Crips, Funny Side Falcons, Island Side Crips and Pill Head Crips, who have got other sub-sets in their turn: Bricc Mafia,Jacc Mob, Squad Up, Tha GK (Grape Killa) Boys, Pure Players Squad and Murder Squad D-Boys. All these cliques are separated into young homies (the dillions) and the older (the locsters). Beyond the rivalry with the Bloods, PJ Watts have got a feud with the Jordan Downs' Grape Street Crips, started on July 1987. Before that, the two sets used to get along and they came to a cease-fire the days previous to the 1992 Los Angeles Rebellion. The peace treaty also involved all the gangs from the other Watts' housing projects. During that period PJ's Tony Bogard and Bounty Hunters' Tyrone Bakeret started the non-profit association "Hands Across Watts", in order to keep the peace between the different street gangs in Watts. Tony Bogard was murdered ten months later while confronting a drug dealer in his own neighborhood.
