South LA, Calif – Big U along with Steve Lobel and others have been pushing Nipsey Hussle, Los Angeles’ latest young musical talent coming straight out of South Los Angeles. Big U has been working with several groups in LA trying to get them exposure and signed as major artists and his grind has been paying off, as Nipsey Hussle’s star has began its ascent.
Nispey has released 3 mixed CDs all entitled, “Bullets Ain’t Got No Name” and his debut album will be released soon on Cinematic/Sony records. He has already collaborated with artists Snoop Dogg and The Game and will be featuring several more artists on his new album.
Big U & Nispey Hussle grew up in the same neighborhood in South Los Angeles, Hyde Park, one of the most hazardous and neglected communities in the city. As a result of the challenges he was confronted with in his environment, Big U ended up serving 13 years in a California prison on a drug charge, but now he is working hard on getting his artists recognition under the Uneek Music banner.
Which artist has given Nipsey Hussle and Big U the most luv? How did Big U hook up with rapper T.I. (aka Tip). Watch the interview.
