Jay Rock spits his own rendition of 50 Cent’s “How to Rob”

In 2009 Jay Rock from Watts, California recorded a single entitled “All My Life” featuring Lil Wayne. An impressive feat to get one of the most sought after rappers to appear on a track of a rising artist that has not even released an official album yet, but that’s just how good Jay Rock is. But what’s even more bold, is that Jay Rock re-recorded 50 Cent’s 1999 underground hit, “How to Rob” and in the song suggested that he was going to jack Lil Wayne. According to Jay Rock, he was just having fun without an old song and means “no disrespect” to any of the rappers and singers he mentioned. We wonder if 50 Cent felt the same way when he recorded his track but check out the interview by N’neka Hite on her visit to the Nickerson Gardens, in Watts, home of the Bounty Hunters, a gang that Jay Rock has been affiliated with for years.
