On Tuesday, the LAPD released an official statement regarding an officer involved shooting connected to a conflict Nipsey Hussle was connected to last Friday.

LAPD officers arrived to a shooting in progress near Slauson Avenue and Crenshaw Boulevard in South Los Angeles, when they witnessed Samiel Asghedom, 29, shooting his weapon, but the LAPD are alleging that he pointed his gun at the officers, even though witnesses claim he was shooting in the air.

Fortunately for Asghedom, the LAPD officer that returned fire was a bad shot missing him all together.

The news release characterized the conflict as a “fight between gang members” and that the Gang Intervention Taskforce are investigating a possible crime against the officer.
