On the eastside of Los Angeles, east of Central Avenue is where you will find one of the oldest gangs in Los Angeles, the 38th Street neighborhood. Since the 1920s, it is believed that 38th Street gang has been occupying this neighborhood, that now is home to over 30 gangs, and even more tagger and party crews.
The crews at times, collide with actual gangs, and in this photo taken in 2008, the crew, BOLS is crossed out by the more durable and larger 38th Street.

The End to Gang Violence is The ONLY solution ….it’s so obvious to me NOW , how much progress has been delayed ,,because ,there’s” no way to get away these day’s”so whats the point of killing each other over a street we’ll never own or does’nt provide a 401k plan or health insurance for the family …but with all that, me myself…. I WILL ALWAYS BE A “”"CLANTONERO”"”….and i believe everyone should be proud of where they’re from, but do we have to kill each other ? isn’t enough ..enough ? maybe im wrong but it appears to me that people are getting awhole lot more TIME these days for “things”people did’nt get so much time for Before ..and a large percentage of homies are doing “ALOT OF TIME FOR A LITTLE CRIME” unfortunately these days .nobody wants to fight anymore everybody wants to kill you ,destroy your existence …fuck your family..and then” tell on you”…the existence of cholos is almost at it’s end ..{ as the zoot suit era ended } i believe so has cholizmo ..now is the era of “gangstas”??????? yeah i know it’s funny ..but” it is what it is”…i truly think homies should “think before you make you’re life stink”…be from wherever the fuck want , be proud of it, but just think of every concequence BEFORE the “impulse”takes control of you..dont ruin you’re life for a minute of bravado ….Clanton has been my life since my earliest memory ,,, and i’m proud of that i will represent CLANTON till the casket drops or the ashes fly … but por favor my little brothers lets stop destroying our future possibilities of growth…dont be a punk , dont be a ratt, dont be stupid !!!! fuck all you idiots who think a “homie”got’s no future…….CLANTON varrio 14 st por vida !!!!!
