South LA resident, gunned down inside home

On Friday afternoon, at approximately 1:00 p.m. Rolland “Rocky” Miller, 44, was shot and killed at his residence on the 1700 block of West 22nd Street in South Los Angeles.
He was an accomplished martial arts expert, and an avid Harley Davidson motorcycle rider. He had a passion for vintage cars, specifically Chevys and loved the car restoration process.
Los Angeles Police Detectives are currently investigating the homicide of Miller, which occurred in the residence. Apparently, someone Miller knew, entered the residence with him, and shortly thereafter, shot him. Two of Miller’s friends, who were in the backyard heard the shots and tried to revive Miller near the back porch where he succumbed to his injuries.
Although paramedics rushed him to the hospital, witnesses stated that Miller was non-responsive. The motive appears to be robbery. Witnesses claim that assailant fled area with bag.

Yes he will be missed badly, but keep your head up, and you and your brothers come together like never before,show the world that your dads life didnt go in vaine, he’s watching over his kids from up above and it would deeply hurt him to see yall fighting over things that cant bring him back, and trust no one in or, out your farther pass or present , family always ! talk to the police and see who was the last no. to call your dads cell phone,if that dont work ,call the news and see can the city put out a reward for that merderous guy, if he did it one he;ll do it agian,see you at the funeral, may gad shine on your family, remmember trust no one.

We produced artwork (he was an artist) together, went to church to gether, he built my first bike, tought me how to Bunny hop and pop a wheely. Before there was a Xgames; there was Rocky, pulling amazing bike tricks. He could pop-lock damn good. He was a gifted football player and tournament fighter. We fought to toghether. He would drive the team to tournaments. He was a good instructor. He joked around a lot. Would you believe he enjoyed “bobbing for apples”? Yep! lol He liked stopping by..just to hang with regular “square” kids in a regular “square” home with pies in the window cooling off. He could just be plain old Rolland.
