Rapper, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, 37, was arrested on one count of misdemeanor domestic violence and four counts of misdemeanor vandalism stemming from an incident that occurred last month. The Los Angeles Police Department was called out to a Toluca Lake condo of an unknown woman, when Jackson, allegedly kicked the door down of a bathroom that his ex-girlfriend locked herself in.

Jackson is also being accused of kicking the victim in the stomach and causing $7,100 in damages by breaking chandeliers and furniture.

“The altercation apparently started from an allegation of infidelity on her part,” according to Los Angeles City attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan, adding that Jackson left the condo before the LAPD arrived.

Jackson denied being arrested through his Twitter account, claiming that he was in a car and has not been arrested.

The rapper will be arraigned on July 22 in Los Angeles Superior Court and faces a maximum penalty of five years in jail and $46,000 in fines if convicted on all counts.
