Correction: Yafeu Fula was killed on November 10, 1996

fulawsFROM THE VAULT – Back in 1996 Marion Suge Knight, the then CEO of Death Row Records, was in court regarding the kicking of South Side Compton Crip member Orlando Anderson, 22, in a Las Vegas hotel lobby. Anderson was the main suspect in the shooting death of rapper Tupac Shakur, 25, which occurred a few hours later after the assault on him. Knight eventually received nine years in prison for violating his parole and that marked the beginning of the end of Death Row Records.

Yafeu Fula, 19, was a member of Tupac Shakur’s group, The Outlawz and was present in Las Vegas, Nevada when Tupac, was shot on September 7, 1996. It is believed that Billy Garland was the the father of both Tupac and Fula making them half brothers. Fula was also known as Young Hollywood, but as an Oulawz member he was given the name Yaki Kadafi after Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi, and all the other members also took on the names of high profile dictators. Kastro, was given the alias after Cuban president Fidel Castro, E.D.I. Mean, took on the name of Ugandan president Idi Amin, Hussein Fatal, who is in the interview and close friends with Fula, was named after former Iraqi dictator Sadaam Hussein, and Mopreme Shakur, who was briefly a member of the group, and step brother of Tupac, went by Komani after Iranian leader Ruhollah Khomeini.

On November 11, 1996, Fula was gunned down in a low-income housing project in Irvington, New Jersey when detectives from Las Vegas were trying to set up an interview with him. He was considered the best witness to the Tupac murder but detectives were never able to question him.

Fula was shot in the head at close range and found slumped over on the third floor of the building in Orange, New Jersey, located at 325 Mechanic Street.

In the video clip, Journalist Sue Keenan (now with Bloomberg news) falsely and ridiculously states that the “w” hand sign stands for “gangster rap” when the hand sign is actually a geographical reference to the Westcoast or California popular inside and outside hip-hop circles.

I WAS 24YRS OLD WHEN PAC AND FULA WAS MURDERED IN ’96. A WAR BROKE OUT IN L.A. BETWEEN THE CRIPS AND BLOODS SOON AFTER PAC DIED. I CAN’T HELP BUT THINK OF ALL THE LIVES THAT WAS DESTROYED BEHIND THIS WAR.

I DON’T PAC WOULD HAVE ENDORSED THAT WAR. PAC FOR THE MOST PART LOOKING BACK NOW WAS ABOUT POSITIVITY, BUT USED NEGATIVE ELEMENTS IN HIS ART TO REACH THE YOUTH, AND THAT HE DID. I BELIEVE HAD HE LIVED, HE WOULD HAVE REVERSED THE “THUG LIFE” IMAGE AND WENT BACK TO BEING TOTALLY POLITICAL.

THE TIMES THAT BROUGHT ON THE SLAUGHTER OF MILLIONS IN RWANDA, AFRICA, 911, THE RECESSION AND POVERTY WOULD HAVE MADE PAC SPEAK OUT EVEN MORE THAN HE DID IN THE EARLY ’90s.
THE WORLD HAVE SUFFERED WITH PAC NOT BEING AROUND ANYMORE, BECAUSE LIKE MALCOLM X, HE HAD A HAND ON PROSPECTIVE OF URBAN AMERICA, THAT EVEN MOST POLTICIANS DON’T EVEN HAVE. HE LIVED IT.

So, bascially, you’re saying the murder rate rose during the period of time after Pac was gunned down in Las Vegas, between the crips and bloods in L.A.?
Sounds logical, wonder if their is any stats, and facts to back up this theory?

  2. i agree with j.d. moore their is no fact’s to back this up being from the hood but not living their anymore for over 3 decade’s this stuff has been going on way before tupac up to this day i had a freind just call me to tell me how somebody walk up to a porch with some younge adults and just blast all in the hood all recent and it has nothing to do with pac it’s all poverty and hate driven with a hefty amount of ignorance thats who causes it

  3. he saw something for real that why he is gone too

Yafeu Fula was not part of any street gang and doubt very much that the people who knew him and his family considered him a low life.

Anyone who wants to know a little more about this death? read this book called T.H.U.G. L.I.F.E. it tells a story of a gang member involved in this all using different names in the book, but a crip realated to this war wrote this book, if you read it, it will show you a whole new side of the story!!!

First of all.. Don’t get me fucking wrong! I love old school hip-hop and absolutely love Tupac. I’m a Tupac Head. But yo check this out… Ima spit some lit. Why do you think Tupac’s whole rap group was named after all of our Enemie’s Leaders? Listen, they were all entangled with Islam, The Black Panthers, and the Brothers of Islam. They were all- don’t get me wrong- kinda terrorists. They all had a dream of achieving money and leaving. That was the whole point! O fcourse he isn’t dead! Ahahha and of course he isn’t in Cuba. He’s probably somewhere in the east. Pakistan, Iran, Somewhere over there. In Tupac’s “I wonder if heaven’s gotta a ghetto video shoot, off of the album R.U. still down with me (remember me) it blankly explains a scenario of him being flown to the desert somewhere, in brick buildings. It then says Rukahs New Mexico, but it is not.

It then says Rukahs New Mexico, but it is not. The whole mission of his life was to make money, and disappear. To fool his enemies, make his money, and live his life as a normal human being with a lot of money. He coped with the first 4 years of fame to get the cash, but once he got the cash he needed to get his life set and move far far away and disappear , he did. 2 months after Tupac’s death Yaki was found dead in a stair-well? And got shot by his own cousin in the head on accident? Bull fucking shit my friends. They’ve all slowly been disappeared too fucking young. Yaki had just as much money as Pac, he was 19. He faked his death and went with his best friend. They made the money and left. And when they feel it’s time to throw it in our damn faces that they made hella money and lived there life, they will. They were straight grinders. Pac spoke of his mission to get money and leave from the get go. Then everyone get’s surprised when it happens? It was prophecy, he spoke of it, he rapped in a light where he had all the money already, he lived as if he already had. It was meant to be. He made it so.
