Mario “Yo Gotti” Mims turned himself in following an arrest warrant for charges of aggravated riot during his concert at Memphis disco Level II over Thanksgiving. An altercation  at the venue between Yo Gotti and a local rapper OG Boo Dirty broke into a gun fight leaving six wounded. The charges were dropped at his court appearance this Wednesday.

After the hearing, where Yo Gotti was ordered to surrender his handgun permit, the Memphis rapper faced the reporters of Fox 13 and his fans in good stride. Despite the unwanted publicity, he stated, “I’m a entertainer, I’m in entertainment. I understand it, I know it’s like it’s a protocol of going through it, going through the courts and getting to this point where it gets dismissed… and we’re back to where we were at in the beginning.”

However, the felony charge of Inciting to Riot and Aggravated Riot against OG Boo Dirty, born Lance N. Taylor, still stands amongst other serious criminal allegations, including aggravated arson. If convicted, he can face up to six years in prison.
