Scott Storch is named in a lawsuit for reneging on an agreement to produce the album of an aspiring singer. According to TMZ, Treene Ruberg said she had paid $30,000 up front for the producer to work on six tracks, totaling a $45,000 figure for the deal made in October 2011.

The lawsuit further details that Storch had addressed his drug addiction, insisitng he was “cured of his past problem,” but Ruberg soon came to the realization that the problem was still rampant, “which rendered him incapable of producing any recordings.” The singer is now asking for the $30k back, plus an additional $70k for her expenses incurred for flights, studio time, and ultimately having to hire another producer.

BET reports that Storch was arrested in February in Las Vegas for cocaine possession. He was a protege of Dr. Dre and a member of The Roots, going on to work with the likes of Justin Timberlake and Beyonce.
