Lil Phat Murder Suspect A Convicted Russian Mobster

One of the accused for the kil#i*gg of Baton Rouge rapper Lil Phat is found to have links to the Russian mob. The emcee was sitting outside an Atlanta hospital preparing for the birth of his child last June, when his own life was ended by a drive-by shooting. He had rented a BMW and an Audi from Mani Chulpayev, whose business came under scrutiny for selling stolen cars. According to Local Channel 2, talking to police about the vehicles is what resulted in Lil Phat being marked for murder.

Chulpayev’s laywer George Plumides maintains that his client is innocent. “Mani had nothing against this kid, and grieved when he found out he got ki*led,” Plumides said of the prosecutors. “They put him out of business and they have nothing.” District Attorney Paul Howard is convinced it was an blankblankination.

Lil Phat was still in his car, parked on the second level of the structure outside Northside Hospital at the time he suffered multiple bullets by two hired gunmen from Alabama.
