A scuffle broke out between Los Angeles officers and a group of men trying to get into a club hosting T.I. and The Game, all caught on video by TMZ this morning.

When an argument between the cops and the concert fans started heating up, the rappers rushed outside from the Supperclub to intervene.

“Is this a crime scene?” T.I. was heard saying while holding his agitated posse in check. “Y’all got a lot of people to beat up. We got good lawyers!”

The video showed both plainclothes and on-the-clock personnel kicking a man while he was down, shouting, “He goes to jail tonight!” An onlooker corrected that the confrontation was escalated by security and not police, prompting Game to a hunt for the offender.

A speaker behind the camera implicated the excessive force of the authorities as “a Mexican standoff.”

The men who were targeted for pummeling were described as “mutual acquaintances” of the rappers, one of whom first punched a security guard for being denied entry.
