2 Chainz Calls His Arrest An Attempt at Swag Assassination

2 Chainz was released after his arrest Tuesday at La Guardia Airport, New York, but not without losing a beloved piece of jewelry. MTV reports that officials detained him when they identified brblank knuckles in his luggage, but the rapper was soon let go when the described four-fingered ring paled against the initial charge of misdemeanor possession of a weapon in the fourth degree.

“They tried to blankblankinate my character, they tried to blankblankinate my swag,” said Chainz. “Me just trying to explain it was getting too frustrating, me just trying to explain my occupation and then when they finally got to the jail and everybody knew who I was, then they started calling their kids and putting me on the phone with their kids. It was like a weird experience.”

The eight to nine hour ordeal left him unnerved but mostly, he was upset that the exquisite custom artifact was never returned. “I do exclusive pieces. My pieces are actual conversation pieces, like literally. When you see my gold, it’s something to conversate about.” Looking forward, he at least has the project Respect My Vote to feel optimistic about.
