New Orleans based rapper Juvenile is gearing up to release his second project this summer on E1 Records, called Beast Mode, the follow up to December’s release lollipopy and Confident.

“This my baby right here man,” Juvenile told AllHipHop.com of his new project. “It’s that up tempo street sh*%. The first single is for the women, ‘Drop that blank’. You know its summer time. The last album, I was trying to get to the fellas, so I want to make sure I keep it balanced.“

Despite being busted for smoking weed in February 2010, while recording material for Beast Mode, Juvenile included an ode to marijuana on Beast Mode.

“I got a song on there called ‘Lalalala’ is kind of like our weed record and we kinda turn that on when we bout to get our smoke on,” Juvenile revealed to AllHipHop.com. I got another song on there called “Nasty Girl”, and that’s gonna be one of those real, freaky, freaky, freaky records man, its crazy man (laughs).”

While the album will have no features, Juvenile is looking forward to finding features for the remixes on his upcoming project.

“You know for me I like to get artist on the remix. ‘Drop that blank’ is out right now and I’m searching for cats on the remix, but I would rather have an artist on the remixes instead of on the album because I want people to hear it on the radio. That’s not giving the fans you, but you have fans that want to see that, so it’s just better when you do it as a remix.”

Juvenile also gave some positive hints about the chances of a Hot Boys reunion.

I’ve talked to Baby, he’s real behind doing the Hot Boys album thing. He done came at me three times but the whole thing was and I wanna be truthful to everybody, it was me and him talking. Me and Wayne was cool. Me and B.G. was cool, all of us was cool but I really had to talk to Baby. We had to put everything out on the table and settle our differences and that was something we’d never done. And I can honestly say it’s been done now so y’all can definitely be looking forward to that album.

Speaking on his contact with other Hot Boys members, specifically Lil’ Wayne who is currently incarcerated on Rikers Island in New York, Juvenile said. “I just need the information so I can write him. I’ve been need to get an address so I can write him.”
