migosThe murder of Paris Brown on June 11 reminds us that casualties from rap feuding is not a glamorous game. WSBTV reports that the victim, believed to be a fan of Migos, became an unintended target in a beef between the group and 2G.

Brown was gunned down outside a Quality Inn in Gwinnett County in what investigators surmise was a bullet meant for Migos member Kiara “Offset” Cephus.

Police corporal Deon Washington said, “We know he was there, however he would not cooperate with the police investigation” due to deference to a culture that sneers at snitching.

Surveillance recorded two men disappearing past a corridor carrying guns, then running back while unleashing a hail of gunfire. One suspect is identified as 2G affiliate Cory Marzette. The second gunman is yet to be identified. Cops believe this is part of a growing rivalry counting on six months of flare ups throughout the county.
