Lil Reese: Haters “2 Late” to Bring Him Down With Beating Video

Beating up a woman at little more than a verbal expression of displeasure is grossly bad form that often happens behind closed doors, but Lil Reese was brazenly unapologetic about it when a video was uploaded to World Star Hip Hop of him doing just that.

The Chicago rapper is seen arguing with a woman when she discovered his presence and yelled, “Who the f–k let them in here?” Pushing and shoving accelerated into stomping. Rather than contrition or even embarrblankment at his being outed, Lil Reese brushed off the incident, tweeting, “The haters tryna see a mf Dwn lol Dey gotta b broke and bored wanna upload sum sh-t from years ago damnn we winnin it’s 2 late.” He did not deny his identity in relation to the video.

The footage was taken from a cellphone whose owner is undisclosed. The police are not investigating the beating without a lead to the woman’s identity or a time frame for the incident, but they have retained a copy should there be use for it in the future. Comments in reaction to the video do not bode well for the viewers’ estimation of black conflict management.
