Radric Davis, aka Gucci Mane, was sentenced to six months of prison after pleading guilty to two counts of battery and reckless conduct and one count of disorderly conduct in September. He faced a civil lawsuit for shoving a woman out of a moving vehicle in January when she refused to go to a hotel with him.

According to the defendant, Gucci Mane had approached her at South DeKalb Mall and asked if she wanted to grab breakfast, but once inside his white Hummer, he proposed $150 in exchange for going to his hotel. She asked to be driven back to the mall and was then ejected from the vehicle. She later identified the rapper by the infamous ice cream face tattoo.

The rapper’s attorney’s plea to offer a benefit concert on behalf of the DeKalb County Battered Women’s Shelter for a reduced sentence was denied. DeKalb State Court Judge Eleanor Ross was heard saying,”I don’t think it would be appropriate to let him out just because he’s a rapper.”
