tupac poetryTupac Shakur wrote poetry as a teen and three of them have been published by Noisey, an online website covering music. Pac is known for his lyrical style and has inspired many before and after his death in 1996.

These three poems released by his first manager, Leila Steinberg for a blog site called Citizens of Humanity were written when Pac was only 17 years old, but written like a true lyricist back then. These poems were written over a 3 year span of his teenage life. The poems are significant because we get a chance to get a glimpse of his state of mind back then when he was attending an art school in Baltimore.

Reading these poems show a different side of Pac, a more relaxed and vulnerable side, unlike the side he portrayed once he signed with Shug Knight, at Death Row Records, in Los Angeles before its demise in 2009.

Some may say Pac was an intellectual writer. You be the judge.
