Video – Jennifer Lopez falls during American Music Awards performance Staff
November 22, 2009

jlo_jumpa2LOS ANGELES – If you were on the west coast, you saw the censored version of the American Music Awards that showed Jennifer Lopez, 40, make a dazzling leap off the back of one of her dancers in slow motion while she performed the song Louboutins. But what you missed was the crash landing that her spotter couldn’t even stop in normal motion. After she scaled a human pyramid along the backs of her shirtless dancers, she takes a forward leap into the air and unfortunately does not land flat three minutes into her routine.

She was able to immediately bounce off her assets and get back on her feet quickly, barely loosing stride to complete the dance number including a wardrobe change. That portion of her performance was censored to prevent millions of viewers of seeing her fall but east coast viewers saw it live (watch video live).
