Fans waited nearly three hours to see rapper Webbie’s scheduled performance at a Waco, Texas, nightclub this Saturday. The concert was supposed to start at 10:30 p.m., and it wasn’t until 2 a.m. near closing time that the promoters announced the cancellation, resulting in rioting at The Ranch. This is yet another no-show added to the rapper’s growing history of canceled concerts. Along with his partner Lil Boosie, Webbie is already rolling in millions of dollars of lawsuits stemming from failed appearances in the past 3 years.

A concert attendee reported to a local news station, “The promoter got on the mic and said Webbie’s brother was on the phone and said he overdosed on pills and is at the Temple hospital and not going to make it.” Anger from the lack of communication caused the mob to take to turning over tables and shooting into the air. The ruckus subsided after police threw tear gas into the crowd, tallying two injured officers at the end of the day.
