On Tuesday, Waka Flocka Flame’s team was ordered to pay over half a million dollars in damages for a shooting incident outside a car stereo warehouse. The Atlanta rapper was getting the sound system on his tour bus retooled, when two vehicles pulled into the parking lot and Antonio Stukes stepped out to approach Waka Flocka, only to be shot by Mizay Entertainment security guards.

Initially, he defense said the security guards thought they were under threat of being robbed, but WCNC later reported that the victim was an aspiring rapper himself and had only wanted to pass on a demo CD. Stukes had originally faced charges of attempted armed robbery, conspiracy and discharging a weapon into an occupied property, all of which were dismissed due to lack of evidence.

A Mecklenburg County civil jury ruled that Mizay Entertainment owed Stukes, who was shot in the shoulder, $501,000 in compensatory and punitive damages.
