New 50 Cent movie to start shooting

50 Cent’s new movie project Gun is to begin filming soon, a report has claimed.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the drama is almost ready to go into production with Soul Plane director Jessy Terrero at the helm.

Rapper 50, real name Curtis Jackson, first announced plans for Gun last month, revealing that he had written the screenplay and recruited Val Kilmer to star alongside him in the film.

Gun will reportedly tell the story of two friends who become caught up in the world of illegal weapons dealing. It is expected to be filmed in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

50 Cent previously starred in the semi-autobiographical movie Get Rich or Die Tryin’, which was released in 2005.
