Hispanic Gangs in the City of Burbank
Burbank is located in the eastern part of the San Fernando Valley, in Los Angeles County, 12 miles from the downtown area of the City of Los Angeles.
The city was founded May 1, 1887 and Incorporated July 8, 1911. According to the 2000 US Census the population of Burbank was 100,316. The Golden State Freeway (5) bisects Burbank, connecting the city to the metropolitan freeway system and transcontinental highways. The 134 Freeway cuts through the south tip of the City.
