5th and Hill is a predominately Mexican immigrant gang located in the downtown area of Los Angeles. During the 1970s and 1980s they had a strong presence but as the city continued to develop the downtown section of LA, the gang’s presence has declined as housing values have increase.
In 2007 the LAPD arrested 31 alleged members of 5th & Hill on various drug offenses.
