Temple Street (TST)
Varrio Temple Street [TST] is a predominately Hispanic gang located in the central area of Los Angeles west of downtown. Founded in the early 1920s, TST is among the oldest street gangs in Los Angeles. They have a unique history of being a racially diverse gang, especially during the 1970s and 1980s, when they had black, Filipino and White members.
The Filipinos eventually started their own clique under Temple Street, called the Pinoy Locos (PLS). They eventually broke off TST and created their own street gang.
Some of their cliques include the Micheltorena Locos (MTLs), Midget Locos (MLs), Moutainview Locos (MVLs), Park Dillon Locos (PDLs), Pee Wee Locos (PWLs), Rosemont Locos (RLs) and Tiny Locos (TLs).
