East Side Play Boys [PBS / ESPBS / SSPBS] are a predominately Hispanic street gang located on the eastside of South Los Angeles. The PBS from this neighborhood started during the mid 1970s and have the following clicks; 35th, 42nd Cyclones, 43rd, 46th Locos, 49th, 51st Locos, 56th Locos, 64th Street Chicos Locos. The PlayBoys are among one of the first Latino gangs to form in this area of Los Angeles.
They are geographically located on the Eastside of South Los Angeles from Main Street (west) to approximately Latham Avenue (east) between Vernon Avenue (north) and approximately 54th Street (south). Directly to the east are the Barrio Mojados (BMS). To the north are the Vernon Hood Locos and 43rd Street. To the south are the 55 Bunch and to the west are Varrio 50th Street.
