      Isai Barrera from Astoria Gardens told Police Jokey from Pacoima Flats had a gun and was with Teodoro Elenes a member of the Project Boys the day Javier Garcia from Brownstones was ked.

      Morales asked Barrera where he was from. Barrera replied, “Astoria” (Astoria Gardens gang). Morales identified himself as “Jokey” “from the Flats” and made a derogatory reference to the Brownstones. Barrera had just seen Garcia, who was “from Brownstones,” riding by on his bicycle. Barrera also saw a gun in Elenes’s hand. About 10 minutes after defendants drove toward Telfair Elementary, Barrera heard a gunshot.

        I heard this beef is so tense that they even get down in the San Fernando court holding tanks.         On Aug. 14 the night of the Sylmar birthday party shooting about 9:00 P.M.
        I was on my way to 7-Eleven with my 6-year-old daughter, we lived
        a block away. When four Hispanic men with shaved heads drove up to us
        in a red four-door Honda shouting where you from fool? I answered,
        I am not a gang member or associate with any gang. That’s when he pulled out
        and pointed a shotgun out the back passenger window and said, “we’re hunting
        for flappers” in a Elmer Fudd voice. I looked at him like what an idiot, get a job!
        They shouted “Pacoima Projects” then drove away matching the description of the vehicle and suspects.

          his San Francisco Giants jersey, and SF in old English on his face. LAPD Sgt. Scott Goodman noticed Alejandro Fernandez had a his hand on a 357 on
          the waist of his baggy creased up Ben Davis. He tackled me and then ran high on meth. Alejandro Fernandez was eventually apprehended in the
          city of San Fernando and charged with murder and carjacking after nearly three hours barricading himself. Being part of LAPD is hard,
          and extremely scary due to the fact that you never know when its your last breath.

      Where did these so called AGL chumps come from?
      When I lived in the Astoria Gardens back in the mid 80’s
      they weren’t around. My family moved out of that ish hole in 1990
      to Laurel Canyon and Fox, they still didn’t exist. The only small gangs
      back then were the Mars Boys and Shakin’ Cats…San Fer put them
      in caskets.

    Astoria had a treaty with San Fer.
    Astoria would tag in huge letters AGLs
    and VSF together on the corner wall
    of Astoria and Dronfield, now apartment complex.
    It only lasted a week. But I don’t think San Fer
    ever agreed to the treaty in 96 or 98
    or maybe they did but had bad intentions
    of using them. I went to Olive Vista and Sylmar High
    with both gangs SF had way more members
    than them. I see no point in being in a gang
    and doing 25 years to life in prison for nothing,
    showering with men and stabbings on a 3 or 4 yard.
    And to you old motherfers talking that
    high power prison ish only bragging for respect
    or fear need to be role models and mentors

    I lived in Sylmar 2 years. All I saw was SF hit ups. I used to walk the streets in my SD hat all day no one ever said anything. The only time I thought I saw ASG I opened the gates to my apartments on the corner of Astoria & Foothill. Those fools ran the f in with the quickness and thanked me cause someone was chasing them. I only did it cause I remembered my banging days in SD a few years before. I met some cool gente in that part of the Valle. Respect to those who I met, fools from all over but showed respect but I wasn’t trying to be active either.
