Pacoima is a neighborhood in the San Fernando Valley of the city of Los Angeles, California. It is bordered the Mission Hills community to the west, Arleta to the south, Sun Valley to the southeast, Lake View Terrace to the northeast, and by the city of San Fernando to the north. In 2010 the population 75,014 with a median household income of $49,066. According to 1990 US Census data almost 40 percent of Pacoima’s residents were under 18 and more than 40 percent of Pacoima’s residents were born outside of the United States.
