Hawthorne is a city in the southwestern part of Los Angeles County, located in the South Bay area. Hawthorne is 5 miles from the Los Angeles International Airport. It occupies 6.1 sq. miles of land. In the early 1990’s, Hawthorne was advertised as the city between the city and the sea, making it an ideal place to live for middle class Americans.
During the 1930s the town had a whites only policy, with signs against blacks posted at its borders. Since the 1960s Civil Rights Movement and the demographic change sparked by the 1965 Immigration Act, the roles are reversed. Black and Mexican gangs regularly tag their territory in the area. According to the 2008 US Census, the total population of Hawthorne is 87,498 people. 53.2% of residents are Hispanic, 45.7% are White, 28.4% are Black or African American, and 7.4% are Asian.
Non-US born residents were 36.3% and 57.8% speak a language other than English in the home. College degree recipients represent 15.9% of and 73.5% have a high school degree. 16.6% of families and 17.5% of individuals live below the poverty line.

If we, the member of the blankociation do not feel the pinch expecting others to dispose the issue in the interest of public will take its own course by consuming its own time.Instead, we can post the best possible approach to find a speedy solution like the following:We can ask the Dept to keep certain no of vacancies for the possible solution and fill up the balance after vacating the stay;or the stay may be vacated after giving due blankurance to implement the Govt order within a specified time frame.If the DPC is not conducted within the stipulated time, the Dept. will face a tough time to discharge the day to day activities, because the no of retirements in the Supt and AC cadre are expected to be more and more in the forthcoming months. We may bring up this point also to vacate the stay immediately.
