Area Put Off-Limits to Valley Gang Members

A Superior Court judge issued an injunction Monday barring members of a west San Fernando Valley street gang from associating with one another within a 4.65-square-mile safety zone bounded by Winnetka Avenue and Topanga Canyon Boulevard and Vanowen and Nordhoff streets.

A 10 p.m. curfew also was set for the estimated 565 members of the Canoga Park Alabama gang.
