Slidell in Saint Tammany Parish

After unsuccessfullying getting into New Orleans, I took the 55 North along Lake Pontchatrain to the 12 West to see the damage in Slidell. I had heard on the radio all that morning that the destruction was devastating and the traffic was jammed for 4 hours into Slidell according to the United Radio Broadcasters of New Orleans. Only the former was true as the following photos will show, September 9, 2005
