Father Greg Boyle’s non-profit organization, Homeboy Industries (HBI), has launched a new product, “Homeboy Salsa.” Homeboy Industries has worked with gang members for nearly 20 years with the primary purpose of finding work and transitioning gang members into the work force.

Since 1992 HBI has provided tattoo removal services, job placement, tutoring, mental health care, and job training for gang members. Several years ago HBI launched, Homegirl Cafe, where Chef Pati Zarate has created several authentic Mexican salsas.

The new salsa comes in several flavors including Morita, Mango, Salsa Verde, Pico de Gallo (mild and hot) and Mole and they will be available in over 250 Ralph’s supermarkets in Southern California.
