Police: Man Stabbed After Vandalizing Car

SAN DIEGO — A 20-year-old man was hospitalized with multiple stab wounds Friday following an apparent gang-related attack in Palm City, where the victim was chased after he vandalized his alleged attacker’s car in Chula Vista, police said.
The incident was reported at 11:44 p.m. Thursday, according to San Diego police Officer David Stafford.
Jimmy Angulo, 20, and his girlfriend, Sheila Ortegoza, went to the Chula Vista home of Robert “Fatal” Porras and broke the windshield on Porras’ car, Stafford said. Their motive was not immediately determined.Porras’ allegedly caught the couple in the act and gave chase. Stafford said Porras and his brother followed the couple by car to the 2300 block of Servando Avenue in Palm City and pulled them out of the vehicle.Porras then stabbed Angulo three times in the back and abdomen, Stafford said, adding that Angulo showed up later at Scripps Mercy Hospital-Chula Vista and was transported to UCSD Medical Center with serious injuries.SDPD gang detectives were investigating. No arrests were immediately reported.
