Santa Rosa police today are investigating the stabbing of a 19-year-old local girl that occurred Thursday afternoon following a fight between four teenage girls at a park in the city.

Police were alerted about the fight at about 4:15 p.m. at Juilliard Park, located at 531 Juilliard Park Drive.

During the fight, the victim was attacked with a knife by one suspect and with a stick or similar object by another suspect, according to police.

Three of the girls tried to run away when officers arrived, but all were apprehended at the park, police said.
