Long Beach police arrest alleged gang leader

LONG BEACH, Calif.—Long Beach police have arrested the alleged leader of the city’s most violent street gang.
Police Chief Jim McDonnell said Reyes Rios, the alleged head of the East Side Longos, and his suspected triggerman Ruhani Bustamante were arrested early Thursday during a series of raids.
McDonnell says the gang is responsible for the majority of Long Beach’s shootings and murders.
He says Rios and Bustamante have been linked to a dozen shootings, including two murders, in the last year.
Seven other alleged gang members or associated were also arrested on suspicion of evidence tampering or intimidating witnesses in connection with a series of gang shootings targeting their rivals.
Police say 13 people were taken into custody on probation violations during the raids.

Do the Longos and Insane Long Beach Crips have beef with each other? Do Longos have beef with any other black Long Beach gangs (like the Rolling 20s Crips)? When I think of the Longos, I usually think of the beef they have with TRG.
Chongos beef with every crip and asian gang in Long Beach, Insanes, 20s, TRG, CBC, SoS, ABZ, Sui Town, EFCC, everyone that ain’t mexican. They come at it on some racial tip and not a Sur v Crip thing, as you can see “ni66er killer/Nip killer” and “Gook Killer” sprayed on walls down anaheim.
