LANCASTER – A 21-year-old Palmdale man faces 100 years to life in prison for a car-to-car shooting that killed one man and injured another.

Ezequiel Gonzalez, 22, was killed in July 2006 when rival gang members exchanged gunfire on 10th Street East and Avenue R-4. The car that Gonzalez was riding in then collided head-on with another car and caught fire.

Roger Martinez was convicted last week in Antelope Valley Superior Court of murder and attempted murder. Co-defendant Ricardo Valenzuela is still at large, prosectors said.
