4 suspected gang members arrested in South Bay burglaries

Four reputed gang members have been arrested on suspicion of committing up to 25 home burglaries throughout the Palos Verdes Peninsula and other South Bay cities, sheriff’s deputies said Friday.The men are alleged to be members of the Baby Insane Crips gang in Long Beach, an organization believed responsible for 13 shootings and a homicide, commiting crimes at the direction of a leader in San Bernardino, Long Beach police said.The men were taken to jail May 18 following a traffic stop in Lomita that recovered televisions, computers and jewelry stolen earlier that day in a burglary in the 27000 block of Pembina Road in Rancho Palos Verdes, sheriff’s Detective Chuck Braden said.
