Rocket launcher, drugs, ammunition seized in raid at home

A search warrant served Wednesday at a Paramount home resulted in the seizure of a rocket launcher, body armor, methamphetamine and other contraband, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Four gang members were also arrested at the home.
Detectives from the sheriff’s Operation Safe Streets Bureau served the warrant at the home in the 16400 block of Georgia Avenue after receiving information that they believed concerned a gang-related attempted murder and an assault with a deadly weapon.
Convicted felon Jose Gutierrez, 30, of Paramount was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of a rocket launcher, silencer, ammunition and methamphetamine for sale. Jimmy Regalado, 25, of Paramount was arrested on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine for sale. Armando Nunez, 34, of Long Beach was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of ammunition and vandalism, and Jorge Galvan, 29, of Paramount was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
