Innocent bystander struck by gunfire in Panorama City

PANORAMA CITY, LOS ANGELES — An innocent bystander in Panorama City was hit by gunfire in an apparent gang shootout on Sepulveda Place.
Officers say a 29-year-old man was shot in the head and that innocent bystander was struck in the stomach at around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
The 29-year-old was hospitalized in critical condition and it remains unclear if he will survive. The bystander was treated and released.
Police believe there was more than one shooter exchanging gunfire.
