Seaside teenager shot and wounded

A 16-year-old boy was wounded late Thursday during a gang-related shooting in Seaside, police said.
At 11:34 p.m., police said, officers responded to a call reporting shots fired in the area of Phoenix Avenue and Fremont Boulevard.
They said officers found the boy with a gunshot wound to his thigh.
He was transported by ground ambulance to a local hospital for treatment and expected to recover from his wounds, police said.
