PACOIMA, Calif. — A man wanted for stabbing his estranged wife in a Pacoima neighborhood evaded police and remains at large Sunday.

Los Angeles police received a 911 call at about 3:20 a.m. from someone saying a man was stabbing his wife.

Responding officers sealed off an area around Van Nuys Boulevard and DeFoe Avenue in Pacoima, but there was no sign of the suspect. Police eventually broke down the perimeter around 10 a.m., but they said they’re doing everything possible to track down the suspect.
