PICO RIVERA – An armed man shot at two people in front of an apartment complex late Thursday night.
Sheriff’s Lt. Joe Mendoza said no one was injured in the drive-by shooting which occurred at 11:51 p.m. in the 9100 block of Burke Street.
He said a 16-year-old boy and a 20-year-old woman were sitting in front of the complex when an older model green Honda Accord pulled up.
The Accord’s passenger yelled out the name of a local gang and shot twice in the victims’ direction, Mendoza said.
The car took off. Descriptions of the shooter and the getaway driver weren’t available.
